My research team is devoted to the Environmental Pollution studies especially in the field of marine and terrestrial radioactivity monitoring. Our research involved also in the exploration of micro-plastic contamination in the marine environment. In particular, we are using bio-geo-chemical technique and nuclear techniques; specially, stable isotope compositions (¹⁸O and ²H) and environmental radioisotope (³H and ¹⁴C) and radio nuclide measurements like ¹³⁷Cs, ⁶⁰Co, ²³⁸U, ²³²Th, ²²⁶Ra, ⁴⁰ K, and ⁹⁰Sr etc. to assess environmental hazards monitoring and to understand the different criteria of environmental pollutions. My research experiences covers:

Site selection, Planning and Sampling of marine and non-marine biotic and abiotic samples for bio-geo-chemical analysis as well as stable isotopes (²H, ¹⁵N, ¹⁸O& ¹³C) and radioisotopes (¹⁴C, ³H, ²³⁵U, ²³²Th, ¹³⁷Cs etc) measurements.
Isotopic & Chemical analysis of geological and biological samples for trace metals and other pollutants using various sophisticated instrument like ICP-MS, Microwave Digestion System, Atomic Absorption Spectrometry (AAS), HPLC, UV-VIS Spectrophotometer, Ion Chromatograph, Voltammeter, TOC Analyser, Liquid Scintillation Counter (LSC) etc .
Groundwater Modeling By Using AquaChem, PREEQC, SURFER, Arc View GIS, ORIGIN etc and some other golden Software.
Arrangement of field demonstrations for different types of sampling like, Plant, soil, sediment, groundwater, surface water, and sea water for both graduate and post-graduate students of different universities.
Graduate Student supervision and analytical assistance to various research Organizations and Universities of Bangladesh.

Awarded the Best Poster Prize (5 posters were awarded among 600 posters from all around the world) in the 16 MRS Spring Meeting and Exhibit (the largest conference in material sciences in the world), Phoenix, Arizona, USA for the presentation on “Temperature and Electron Energy Dependent Evolution of Dislocation Loops in Yttria Stabilized Zirconia”.
2. Awarded with MEXT (Monbukagakusho) Scholarship to conduct the Doctor of Engineering in the Department of Applied Quantum Physics and Nuclear Engineering, Kyushu University, Japan.
